I offer Swedish classical massage, which is a therapeutic and relaxing oil massage focused on working through the muscles thoroughly. The massage is always adapted to the client’s wishes and condition: deeper therapeutic massage or softer relaxing massage. Every person is unique and the needs are different.
My Services
I give massages at my home in Vila Nova de Milfontes, but also offer visits to private homes or tourist accommodation. An extra charge for travel is added to the price of the massage.
60 minutes: A one-hour massage can focus on specific parts of the body (e.g. back and neck) or be a full body massage.
90 minutes: A longer massage that gives time to fully work through the whole body. Recommended if you experience issues in several parts of the body.
Customised: If you have problems with a specific issue or want to book several sessions in a row, I also offer customised options. Ask for more information.
About Me
I’m a certified massage therapist, which means that I have had to pass both a theoretical exam and a practical exam. I was certified in 2019 in Sweden and have been working since then.The education gave me important knowledge about muscles and the body as a whole, but much of the secret to both treatment and relaxation is presence and curiosity. Every body is unique and should be treated as such.
My Work
Receiving a massage from an unknown person is a vulnerable situation where one can feel nervous and exposed. As a massage therapist I am aware of this and will do my absolute best to make you feel comfortable and relaxed so that you can get the most out of the treatment. I will always respect your boundaries and privacy. Hygiene and cleanliness is also a matter of respect and ethics: towels are always washed, the massage bed disinfected and my hands clean.To me being professional is knowing what I can do, but also knowing when not to massage or what I cannot treat. The combination of theoretical knowledge about the body, practical knowledge from experience and curiosity in your specific unique body is the basis of all massages and treatments I do. And presence, always presence.
